Maxee Concept

The Maxee IOT technology is a wireless, plug-and-play system to collect data from different energy meters and make these available on a cloud-based platform. Maxee collects data from electricity, gas and water meters, but also measures temperature and air quality.

The Maxee IOT solution is a plug-and-play, stand-alone solution which does not require a local network connection or any cabling work.

The Maxee technology consists of a Maxee Gateway and a Maxee Sensor. The Maxee Gateway collects all energy data from the Maxee sensors and sends this data via GPRS (m2m) to the Maxee Cockpit.

From the Maxee Cockpit, you can manage all your devices in great detail and connect the data to your energy monitoring software (EMS) or building management system (BMS).

Maxee Gateway

The Maxee Gateway creates a powerful local LPWAN network. The Maxee Gateway collects the measurement data from the different Maxee Sensors and sends this data via GPRS to the Maxee Cockpit.

The Maxee Gateway by itself is also a Maxee Sensor. Energy meters can also be connected directly to the Maxee Gateway.

Maxee Sensor

The Maxee Sensor is a battery-powered device which can connect multiple energy meters with pulse- or analogue-output.

The Maxee Sensor transmits the measurement data wirelessly to the Maxee Gateway.

The Maxee Sensor has a very long range and can connect to the Maxee Gateway installed several floors away.

Maxee Pulse Splitter

The Maxee Pulse Splitter allows to connect multiple data loggers to one energy meter. The Maxee Pulse Splitter can be installed on any meter with a digital pulse output in order to provide two identical pulses.

The input is wired to the energy meter, the output is wired to the Maxee Sensor and to any other application such as a Building Management Software or Scada system. One Maxee Pulse Splitter can split three independent pulses.
